The last 12 months have been a huge game changer for Dom Dolla, with the success of his recent single catapulting him onto the world stage. After being on remix duties for Go Freek, and absolutely nailing his take on ‘We Can Ride’, the guys teamed up to produce one of the biggest club tracks of the year, ‘Define’. Quickly climbing to #1 on the ARIA Club charts, the track has reached over 5 million streams on Spotify alone. Also featuring on the soundtrack of the Zac Efron film ‘We Are Your Friends’, Dom was asked to perform the track with a 16 piece orchestra at the APRA awards – becoming the very first electronic single to be performed live in the association’s history.
These successes have paved the way to festival glory, and has seen Dom tour with What So Not, perform at EMC, Beyond The Valley, Future Music Festival, Splendour In The Grass, EDC Las Vegas, and headline his own national tour.
With an insanely strong vocal line, and cruisy club beats, Dom delivers his next single ‘You’. Clearly highlighting the evolution of Dom’s writing and production skills, ‘You’ could quite simply be his biggest track to date. With supports throughout his career from the likes of Diplo, Tchami, The Magician, Thomas Jack, Peking Duk, Anna Lunoe, Yolanda Be Cool, Oliver Heldens, Cassian and Nicky Night Time he is certainly making his presence known. The hype around his brand has led him to remixing for label brothers Rufus, Motez and Benson, alongside The Aston Shuffle and Monkey Safari.
With more tour dates set to be announced later in the year, ‘You’ is your first glimpse of Dom Dolla for 2016 and is out today on Sweat It Out.
