Monkey Safari – Cranes

When you think of music mecca’s, you think Berlin, London, Ibiza, New York. But stay on the train a little long after Berlin, and you may just end up in Halle (pronounced ul-ay). It’s where you will find the hometown of Monkey Safari!! And while they may live there (and run an awesome little club too), they are pretty damn worldwide now.

And like proud family, we have watched this rise, from their early releases on Sweat (if u don’t remember Those Dancing Days – do yourself a favor and check it – still one of our best releases ever), to where they are now, with fans such as The Magician, Tensnake, Dubfire, Noir and Sasha.

So it is with open arms that we welcome them back with this BEAUTIFUL release – Cranes. We fell instantly in love with the tune and signed it on the spot, in conjunction with their home label Hommage.

And what a pack this is. Along with the original, we have everybody’s darling Kölsch, who gives us just over 10 minutes of musical bliss. We have Sweat darling Dom Dolla who really steps it up with this one and shows that he is a man of many tricks and class to boot. Very proud of our boy on this one. Wolf and Lamb inject some funk into their mix and Club Sweat homie, Lyndon Kid, currently sitting nice and tight on the Beatport tech house charts, gives us some wobble tech for the later floors.

If you don’t fall in love with this release, we can point you to a good therapist.
