Drawing upon the likes of Toro Y Moi, Flying Lotus, Basement Jaxx, James Blake, Thundercat, Kaytranada, Tom Misch and Jamie xx, he crafts records that are as brooding as they are energising. With a continuous stream of support from triple j, and support from 88Rising, Diplo, NGHTMRE & SLANDER, The Aston Shuffle and Alison Wonderland, Dugong Jr has proven himself time and time again that the new wave is here to stay.

Dugong Jr's debut album ‘Good Time Hotel’ seamlessly blends house and hip-hop to create an effortlessly cool bounce, impossible not to move to. His recent ‘Good Time Hotel’ Australian tour saw him perform at venues across Melbourne and Brisbane. His work has also taken him across the globe to New Zealand, US and Canada and seen him play at major festivals and events like Splendour In The Grass, Brownies & Lemonade, and Groovin The Moo. He's also supported Chromeo on their Australian tour which saw him play to sold out crowds in Sydney’s Metro Theatre & Melbourne’s 170 Russell.
